Getting back on track

Last night I decided after an improptu photo shoot with S and B that
I would start a ‘Daily To-Do’ list. This was after the council meeting from hell, and something that I really do not want to talk about again, suffice it to say that I was stark raving mad and ending up giving Sara a migraine because I was like pouring out energy I was that pissed off. After they left I had a minor crying session because I think I’m actually PMSing, and what I was crying over wasn’t the issue because the true issue is that since I’ve been sick for the past week and a half, I’ve let things go and I felt out of control and I took the stance of fixing rather than obsessing. YAY for me. (No seriously, when I get obsessive nothing gets done. Vicious cycle I know.) So before bed I got the laundry put away and began to do the Daily To-Do list. And before I get started in my 2 hour of daily cleaning, 1 I figured that I’d blog and drink my breakfast a triple chocolate protein shake. (*gag*) After which I will put the computer back on the desk turn on the tunes (OMG Nicki M’s new song ‘Turn me on’ amazing) and dance while cleaning my apartment while the timer ticks away. Tiny has already been out, and I am going to do a work out as soon as I finish drinking my shake. I might actually wait until 11 am hits so that way I can so a full 60 min work out via just dance.
I know that I can do this, and I’ve been thinking about it for awhile now, and it just makes more sense to start now rather than later.
It kind of sucks because I got the perfect TV from rent a center, a Sony Bravia that could hook up to the net and I could watch netflix, listen to pandora etc and there was a broken pixel in it coming out of box so I got a loaner and while its a bigger LCD screen its not my tv. 
Oh well. I’m just thankful that I am doing this through Rent A Center and not just bought it from Walmart because that pixel would not have been fixed.
In some kick ass news I weight myself this morning and so far 3 more pounds have been lost.

Heh, Mom’s!

I had an honest to god conversation about how scared I am about this operation (gastric bypass) and how there are times that I’m not sure if I want to go through with it, only to realize how much I do want to go through with it. And she finally said that after about a week of struggles on being just on a protein shake 2x a day and one solid meal that she was going to help me get my ass in gear because she believed in me. That made me feel tons better. Just hearing that someone believes in you makes everything a lot better. And let me tell you that I was really struggling.
Tomorrow I’m going dancing again. Hopefully no drama this time, just hard core dancing. Today I spend 45+ minutes walking around town to get to appointment after appointment. Literally from one end of town to the other. I am exhausted and fell asleep on the couch. But I did my cpap machine. Which is a good thing.
I haven’t been able to work out as much because my lungs are all clogged up because of being sick. Rawr. I was not happy about this.
The Ugly Truth/Music saves my soul

The ugly truth is that I’m scared. I’m scared of this operation and what it could do to my body, and I’m scared that every person I potentially date is going to find my new body disgusting instead of amazing. The truth is that I don’t care. The ugly truth is that I could care less what happens as long as I’m healthy.
I’ve been in the mood to put on my headphones and just wish the world away. I want to let the lyrics flow over my body cleansing my very soul. the new Evanescence video that came out on my birthday is brilliant and its been stuck in my head for about a week now. So I’m going through old CD’s and uploading songs that I’ve had around for a long time and I’m rediscovering songs that I haven’t heard in years. I’ve also come to terms with the fact that I have enough songs to make a ‘sex soundtrack’ as my best friend calls it.
We were talking about past relationships and I think that I should just not talk about mine. Because when I do I remember the good and the bad and then I feel very alone. It doesn’t help that my mother dropped the bomb on me the other day that she’s moving to Alabama to be with her on again off again boyfriend, which I can’t stand. Oh well.
I combed out Tiny’s fur today and when I was done she bit my nose. Not hard but she literally opened her mouth and stuck it on my nose as if to say she’d had enough.
Oh and I hooked up my TV directly to the internet. It took me about 15 minutes to figure it out because I decided to not read the directions. *sigh* I just hope that when it comes back from being fixed (Strait out of the box there was a broken pixel in the middle of the 40 inch TV RAWR.) that I don’t have to fight with it all over again.

My BF Sara came last night so we could spend some time together. Today we started watching Weeds and I began to work out on the gazelle and then did 3 reps of crunches. She got on the Gazelle and did a short work out and now she’s pacing around saying ‘This is all your fault.’ My reply? “W..T.. the actual F?” And we just start laughing at each other because, well we’ve known each other for 12 years.
She even did my dishes. <3 I was busy doing other things and she did my dishes! WOOHOO! I can’t stand to do dishes but I was really wound up and she helped to calm me down, thankfully. I can’t help but to look back on my life and be so thankful for the people like her in my life. That know how bat shit crazy I am and love me anyway. Its snowing outside, and I hate it. I wanna move somewhere warm! I knew that it was going to storm today because my legs and joints were hurting even before the work out.
For dinner we had steak and baked potato and for a snack I made fondue with some salsa in it. SO good. It sucks but whatever it happens.
I got a new nook color cover, with a sticker case that’s purple with a butterfly on it. I LOVE it. Absolute love. Its got a pocket in it that is so freaking nice (holds my laundry card.) Other than that my life has been pretty boring.

Last night … er the past few days I should say, I’ve felt run down. I’ve been so hungry which has been hard to deal with. However, I’ve been running around so much I woke up this morning very sick. I’ve been taking nyquil today. I asked for Dayquil… but dad messed up and I can’t complain. I just get to ride the high. (I only take 1 tsb when the does is 2 tsp for an adult… my body just can’t handle it.) I am trying to tuck myself into bed so I can recoup but I keep wanting to get up and clean. It sucks but whatever. Well off to bed I go!
blogging epic fail

There are times in my life that when I make a goal, I tell myself that you’re so going to do it… only to have life get in the way. That’s what’s been happening to me. I’ve been out living my life. I’ve been dancing, singing, celebrating and I love every moment of it.
Last Saturday for an early birthday celebration (Mine was yesterday.) S, B, and myself all went out to go to the bar, and dance. I was broke, beyond broke so I was the driver and just drank water. I got hit on several times which made me happy, and B threw a fit over some unknown whatever and we took her home, S and I went back to the bar and she had another drink and we danced, then went to the Dandy to get some hoagies, and I got a 12 inch to have for lunch the next day (6 inch that night, the rest in the am.) and a few of the guys from the bar were there. They complimented me and we talked for a bit. We said our good byes and left.
That week my professional make up brushes came ( a month late mind you.) and I’ve been doing make up for people since when we go out. Then about a week or so later the pigments came. They are beautiful. They came on Monday as did another refund check from the school which came in so handy. S and I went to get JD my cousin. And we pulled an all nighter just talking, watching movies and having fun. Then my new phone came in. A pink blackberry which is going to come to be useful to me. I also got my furniture and 40 inch flat screen TV. Had a few friends come over to spend my birthday with me and now I am so feeling the lack of sleep.

The Ipad, the newest tech toy from Apple is basically a Mac product that is completely touch screen, classified as a ‘tablet’ but in essence is just a huge ipod touch. You have access to all of the apps that Apple has to offer, as well as tons of books etc. Its light weight, good for a lot of educational needs- except I wouldn’t let my child take it to school as it is waaay to fragile. Ifreebee.co.uk is where you can get a free iPhone or free iPad just go to their website and read the blog entries. Apparently you can even get a Free iPhone which is something I think is worth looking into. Since I Iphone is one of the biggest product releases to date with lots of really awesome upgrades from 3S and 4.. 4S has Siri and is just better. Free iPad is also like a dream to me. I can’t afford an Ipad right now considering I just got new furniture, but if this website offers details on how to get them.. well I’m all for it.
